Every year thousands of people flock to New Braunfels, Texas for the Lodging, Restaurants, and activities.  The summertime is perfect for tubing the Guadalupe, Comal Rivers, Lakes Mcqueeney, Placid, Dunlap, and Canyon, and to enjoy many other attractions offered year round. the fastest growing lodging association in the Hill Country. "We have a fantastic chamber of commerce (Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce) for a town this size. We have good schools, a good year round climate, and a small-town community feel." Besides kayaking, tubing and swimming in summer, New Braunfels offers year round activities such as golfing , festivals, antique shopping, Old Gruene Market Days, Christmas festivals such as Wassailfest, Cowboy Kringle in Gruene, and the Downtown Tree Lighting attract thousands eager to join the fun. New Braunfels also has Natural Bridge Caverns, Wildlife Safari Park, Landa Park and the McKenna Children's Museum.
